Wigton Wombles – Making a Difference, One Cleanup at a Time!

Who: Open to young people aged 8+
Inspired by the original Wombles, Wigton Wombles is a community-driven group dedicated to keeping our local area clean and green. Meeting weekly, our young volunteers take on the mission of collecting and recycling litter in creative and impactful ways.
Not only do we help tidy up Wigton and surrounding areas, but we also raise awareness about the importance of caring for our environment. Through hands-on activities and teamwork, members learn about sustainability, responsible waste disposal, and the power of small actions in making a big difference.
