Established in 2008, the North Allerdale Development Trust (NADT) is a registered charity (1131992) dedicated to strengthening communities across the Solway Plain. We focus on supporting and developing projects that create new opportunities and enhance local facilities, ensuring a better quality of life for all residents.

Our core objectives include:

• Providing and maintaining community spaces
• Supporting the voluntary sector
• Reducing unemployment through skills development
• Promoting education and lifelong learning

In 2010, NADT took ownership of the newly refurbished Market Hall Conference and Community Centre in Wigton. Through our trading subsidiary, Solway Plain Futures Limited, we operate the facility as a hub for community activities, events, and conferences, bringing people together and fostering local growth.
